D ominic is our newest drum-kit teacher. He is a technically trained drummer who has played in a Jazz sextet for five years and more recently joined Wallingford band, Alboa, an Indie Rock five-piece playing predominantly original music. Dominic believes that playing an instrument is something everyone should try; you learn new skills and it’s a fantastic way to meet new people. Away from the kit Dominic is a Mechanical Engineer for the UK Atomic Energy Authority, the drums are a great way to relax after a busy day doing sums! He will be starting off teaching at our Barn on a Wednesday evening and his teaching slots are filling fast!
A ngela joined WorldBeatsMusic Ltd in March 2015 having previously worked in admin and IT. She helps Laura in all areas of office administration specialising in web presence and social media. R osie and Roo are the youngest members of our team. Rosie arrived in November 2014 and Roo arrived on the 24th January 2016! Both collies love playing in the office, meeting new pupils and having their tummies rubbed!
The African Drumming workshop comes highly recommended! Staff commented on how the music workshops were pitched just right. Your friendly but professional interaction with the children encouraged participation at every level.

Dear Mr Ashton,You are the best drumming teacher ever!
Dear Mr Ashton,I am very happy that you let us do all the drumming lessons, I love it when we play rhythm four. I like doing singing most though, especially Jessie J 'Price Tag' and as I said I LOVE DRUMMING and I hope you enjoy teaching us too.
The workshop was very interesting. I enjoyed the beats and the assembly that we showed. I would have loved having a bit more of a challenge. It was brill!!!
